1. Stinky's Fish Camp
If you find yourself waiting for a table at Stinky's Fish Camp, don't worry - it's worth the wait. This popular restaurant is located near the beach in Dune Allen, and it consistently earns high marks for its delicious seafood, relaxed atmosphere, and fresh oysters (including the highly coveted "select" Appalachicola variety). If you're dining with a companion, be sure to try the Stinky's Stew - it's a fan favorite.
2. Red Bar
If you're in the area, don't miss out on Grayton Beach's Red Bar, it's a must-visit! The atmosphere is a funky and fun bohemian beach shack, perfect for enjoying great food, cocktails, and live music. The house band usually plays world-class jazz, but you might also catch the talented Dread Clampitt. You might even spot a celebrity in the corner, but we respect their privacy so they can enjoy the peaceful beaches of South Walton with their families. Be prepared for a long wait at the Red Bar, but it's always worth it.
3. Cafe 30A
Café Thirty-A in Seagrove is a top-rated restaurant that serves dinner every day of the week. It's a popular choice among diners and is known for its fine dining experience. Despite its reputation, the dress code is casual, so feel free to wear flip-flops and shorts. The atmosphere is both relaxed and refined. Don't miss the banana beignets, which are a must-try for any appetite. Additionally, their Happy Hours are a hit.
