One of the best features of this spot is a covered pavilion equipped with grills and eight picnic benches that overlook the Gulf of Mexico. To access the beach, visitors can use a long, switchback boardwalk ramp that provides a scenic view of the beach from atop a large sand dune. Shaded benches are conveniently placed near the multi-stall bathrooms. However, pedestrians must be cautious when crossing the street to reach additional parking spots as they must walk in the access driveway, which can be challenging during heavy traffic.
